To remove all records of your data held with Gluten Free Ireland (with the exception of those required by UK law, for us to retain for a set period in line with company record keeping procedures), please email mike@glutenfreeireland.com There is no charge for this.
Bases for Consent
Gluten Free Ireland operates on three lawful bases for the processing of data:
Consent
Consumers give their consent to provide minimum personal data, as we require to provide appropriate marketing materials, news and to deal with enquiries. They also have the option to provide additional personal data for more precise marketing.
Clients give their consent to provide and share public information, as we require to promote their business.
Contract
Clients provide their public and non-public information for the processing of invoices as required by contracts with Gluten Free Ireland, to provide a service and for record keeping in line with UK law.
Legitimate Interests
Gluten Free Ireland may use collected data to provide the most appropriate content on our websites, emails and books, to promote and improve our products and services and for administration.
Categories of Personal Data
Data collected by Gluten Free Ireland by either consent or third parties include current country, city or town, sex, age, interests and language.
All personal data collected is by consent of the individual, e.g. an opt in form they have completed, or via publicly available information, such as follower data provided by Facebook or user data provided by Google Analytics.
Data Retention
Gluten Free Ireland retains your data for as long as you have consented to receive our marketing material. Opt out options are included in every consumer email. Client data is only retained for as long as required by UK record keeping laws after a contract has ended.

Gluten Free Ireland Ltd. and its service providers will not share your personal information with any other company unless you give us explicit consent to do so. Any links to other websites are for your convenience, and should not be taken as endorsement by Gluten Free Ireland Ltd. We are not responsible for the content of the linked websites, and therefore we recommend that you check the privacy policy of those websites to which this website may link. We will share your information where required to do so by relevant legislation, or court orders. Should Gluten Free Ireland Ltd. be acquired by another company, customer information may be deemed a transferable business asset, and as such will transfer to the new owners.
Invisible GIF Images & Link Tracking
These are invisible images used in HTML email communications which allow us to track if the email was opened and read. We use these to monitor the level of interaction with a particular email and the results are used to tailor our communications with you. We may use link tracking within the emails we send you: these links may contain information that allows us to track which links are being clicked on. Aggregated data from this is used to tailor the links provided in our emails. The data obtained from these links do not identify you.
Email communications and optingāout

Application Terms of Use
All scripts on this site are original scripts written by the authors of Gluten Free Ireland, and are protected by both UK and international copyright laws. The below lists the terms of use users of Gluten Free Ireland must agree to before using the programs/scripts (Last updated: 7th JuneĀ 2017):
Users may use any scripts offered for download on glutenfreeireland.com, glutenfreeireland.net and facebook.com/glutenfreeireland free of charge, on both personal and commercial web sites. This includes web designers who wish to use our scripts in their paid web site projects. Software development packages are EXCLUDED from this. Scripts may be made available on a per-application for software development upon application to Gluten Free Ireland.
You may NOT modify our scripts to customize them based on your needs without prior express written permission.
Users may NOT, redistribute or repost/ resell for download any script found on Gluten Free Ireland sites or Gluten Free Ireland social media pages. Redistribution is defined as re-offering our scripts for download in any fashion, whether on a competing web site, an application that generates code snippets, or a CD-ROM collection of CSS/JavaScript codes etc. Some examples of what is acceptable and what is not are:
